Medium is uncomfortably tight without removing padding. Hope this helps for people who haven't owned HJC helmets. Also noteworthy: If you order from LEATHERUPS, expect them to wait 5 days before they ship it. I'm curious as to why it takes so long, maybe they like to let the excitement build before delivery. If you're in a hurry, consider purchasing the helmet elsewhere. 2) By bryan wassel I have had this helmet for 3 years now, and have used it for thousands of miles. I can say that it is still working okay, but there are some issues with it. First off the visor will not move easily anymore. I have to force it open or closed, which is quite annoying at a red light, Also the fog-resistant pin-lock doesn't work at all. On top of those two quality annoyances the helmet is very VERY noisy, I have tried a few other helmets that my friends own and they are so much quieter its unreal. Even though there are those few things wrong, I still enjoy the helmet, and I am glad i bought it, but you can find a better deal on a better helmet easily; if this helmet had a few extra features it wouldn't be as bad, like a chin curtain, or a breath box.. and I know I could buy those separately, but the point is there are helmets that come with them for cheaper, and have the same or better level of quality. if you are looking for a cheap helmet for a spare, or something for a passenger that will not be used a ton this is an okay deal, but for the price I would recommend you look at getting a scorpion helmet or something with a few more bells and whistles. >
